Alvik metro station is a station on the green line of the Stockholm Metro, and the Tvärbanan and Nockebybanan tramways, located in Traneberg, Västerort. The station was inaugurated on 26 October 1952. At the same time Nockebybanan was rebuilt and had two new tracks and a new station at the metro platforms. The distance to Slussen is 8 km. Alvik is connected to Brommadepån, a depot for metro cars and trams which is located north of the station.
